Board of Deputies President Marie van der Zyl has condemned an attack on Chatham Memorial Synagogue cemetery in Rochester, Kent. Marie said: “This disgraceful antisemitic vandalism will cause huge upset to the families of those buried in the cemetery and to all right-thinking people. The low lives who perpetrated this hateful attack should face the full force of the law.”
Dates announced for new Invest in Peace meetings Dates and venues have been announced for four Invest in Peace events taking place in November. Invest in Peace provides the opportunity to hear the stories of two peace activists: one Israeli and one Palestinian. The events have been organised in partnership with Solutions Not Sides and are supported by the Board of Deputies and Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) with the endorsement of Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.
