Not everyone knows Israel is the only country for which I am ready to give my life. And I feel personally injured when people around me think they could wield their utter remarks spreading systematic hostility towards the Jews.
When I see an anti-Semitic cliché in any statement, I denounce it violently and every time I am served with to the same answer: « But really, it’s non-sense! I have a Jewish friend, I can not be anti-Semitic! I am just antisionist « . The « Jewish friend » is so convenient , and the pretext of war in Israel is a hypocritical excuse constantly used to justify anti-Semitic drifts propagating throughout Europe particularly in France.
Establishing their complete list to inform the skeptics of this horrible reality would be vain because they will never acknowledge the growing aggressiveness arising towards the Jews, eternal scapegoats of all the misery in the world. Moreover, the basic right-thinking denier, fueled with laziness and envy, is too keen on keeping his conscience at peace to show an act of contrition. Quietly, with impunity, these bastards continue to spread religious and economic prejudices with regard to the Jews: « they’re all bankers.. all usurers… »
I approve the IHRA Declaration (the International Alliance for the Holocaust Memory) supported by 29 countries, and I consider a shame the refusal of the city of Strasbourg to vote for this resolution which, without acrimony, convey a desperate truth that many do not want to address head on.
Anti-semitism exists, and it is up to all of us to fight it.
