DUTCH BAKERY “ANNE AND FRANK” CHANGES NAME AFTER OUTCRY
A bakery in Amsterdam called “Anne & Frank” has said it will change its name after sparking outrage. According to Dutch media reports, the bakery opened just over a week ago around the corner from The Anne Frank House, a popular tourist site in the city.

WARSAW FUNDS NEW JEWISH THEATRE
On Thursday, the Warsaw City Council approved the proposal by Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz to adapt a five-story tenement building. The city of Warsaw will allocate about 35 million euros to give its Jewish theatre a new home.

“SOVIET SINATRA” WHO PROMOTED JEWISH CULTURE AND TIES WITH ISRAEL DIES AT 80

VETERAN BRITISH LABOUR MP RESIGNS PARTY WHIP OVER ANTISEMITISM
Veteran MP Frank Field has resigned the Labour whip, describing the party as a “force for antisemitism”. Field, who has represented Birkenhead in NW England for almost 40 years, said in a letter to party chief whip Nick Brown that he could no longer serve the party as the leadership was overseeing an “erosion of our core values”.

FACEBOOK PULLS AUSCHWITZ PHOTO FOR NUDITY
Facebook deleted a post this week that included an image of starving children in Auschwitz because of its policy against nudity. The post was shared by the US-based Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect last week. It linked to an article on the DailyKos about the need for Holocaust education in the United States.
